You can make a difference!
Climate change is the single biggest threat to our fishing and hunting, and to our kids and grandkids.
Ask your senators to push for clean energy and lower CO2 emissions in the 2021 Budget reconciliation bill.
Here’s how:
1) Call the U.S. Capitol at (202) 224-3121 and ask to speak to one of your U.S. senators.
2) When the operator connects you with your senator’s office, give the staffer your name and address, share the fact that you’re an angler or a hunter, and then tell them:
You’re concerned about the negative impacts of human-caused climate change.
You want your senator to support the transition from fossil fuels to clean energy in the 2021 reconciliation bill.
The final bill should dramatically lower America’s CO2 emissions and promote clean energy jobs.
3) When you’re done, thank the staffer and hang up. Then call (202) 224-3121 again and repeat the process with your other senator’s office.
It’s absolutely vital that we stand up for our fishing and hunting, for our landscapes and waters, and for our kids and grandkids. The most important thing we can do right now is to push hard for climate action in the 2021 reconciliation bill.
If you can't call, or if it's after hours, please consider sending an e-mail to your senators and congressman. Click on the button below to send an e-mail to both of your senators and your representative at the same time.
